Mondays: Myths, Monsters and Magic

Instructor: Brigid Vorce

Using traditional mythology as well as our own imaginations, students will sculpt mythical animals, create whimsical monster portraits, imagine themselves as mythical characters, dream up magic potions and more! This course is designed to give students experience in drawing, painting, sculpting and mixed media. Students will work on long-term projects--seeing their ideas go from concept to construction--as well as daily art exercises.

Thursdays : Literature and the Arts

Come join Susan for a creative approach to exploring and engaging with silly, thought-provoking, creative and caring children's literature. Through the use of fine art, movement, assemblage, drama, and music students will experience and delve into books in new and exciting ways.
