Harvest your creativity at Radiate Art Space this November!

Have a child that loves arts & crafts? Kids Underground Art Lab offers a different a variety of materials and fun craft options, with supervised access to glue guns, so children can create to their hearts content!

This class is offered to children in grades K-5, and caregivers can drop children off for the hour and a half program.

Bring your little ones to play with color and texture, experiment with different materials, and engage their senses by moving freely between stations that spark their imagination! Enjoy making beautiful messes and leaving it behind when you go. Our passion focuses on the process rather than the product.

Suggested ages 18 months - 5 years old, with a caregiver. Older siblings can join in the fun, although activities are geared toward toddlers + pre-schoolers.

Bring your latest project-- whether it be stitching, beading, felting, knitting or other (portable) craft-- to work on at this informal gathering. The Community Crafting Circle is an opportunity to dedicate time to your project, share interests and skills, and connect with other members of the community. Our volunteer host(s) will often have a theme or project they will be working on, and participants are welcome to work with them

The Community Crafting Circle is held the third Monday of each month, and geared towards teens and adults, but kids are welcome to join their caregivers and play in the side/snack room.

Junior Crafter-preneurs: a 4-week after-school workshop
Let your kiddo tap into their entrepreneurial spirit! During this 4-week workshop, kids will make and sell their own crafts, design logos, signs, and packaging, and learn the ins-and-outs of running a market table. Kids will be able to showcase and sell their work at the Richmond Holiday Market the first Saturday in December!

Looking for fun and creative opportunities for your child during the school vacation week? “Bead It” Mini Camp is an opportunity for your child to expand their art skills, experiment with a variety of mediums and techniques, and explore their imagination! Students will learn the technique of millefiori--or "thousand flowers"-- to create beautiful patterned polymer clay beads, as well as working with wood, semi-precious stone, shell, glass, hand-made paper and plastic beads to create fabulous jewelry and key chains! Projects are designed to spark creativity, where each child will approach the project from their own unique perspective and imagination.  
Open to students in grades 1-4
November 24th & 25th 8:30am-2:30pm
Tuition $150 + $10 materials fee
