Richmond Holiday Market

Saturday, December 6

The annual Richmond Holiday Market, in conjunction with the Richmond Free Library's Book Sale, is happening this Saturday, December 6th from 9am-3pm at the Congregational church and Town Center building in Richmond!

The Holiday Market will host over 40 crafters selling their work, including kid vendors from Riot Craft’s “Crafterpreneurs” workshop selling their creations at Radiate Art Space! Lunch will be available for a fee at Congregational Church, the Richmond Community Band will play festive music, and MMCTV/WRUJ will hold an open house.

Admission is free, and free parking can be found at the Town Center and Volunteer's Green.

In addition to the Holiday Market, students will be having a craft sale and fundraiser at Camel’s Hump Middle School. Parking at the school is free. Be sure to support this great cause!

Holiday Pickle Party

Join Molly of Brick House Vermont for a dill-ightful holiday workshop at Radiate Art Space! Using needle felting tools & techniques, learn how to make a felted pickle & learn about the legend of the holiday pickle!

Age Group: Adults 18+

Bring your little ones to play with color and texture, experiment with different materials, and engage their senses by moving freely between stations that spark their imagination! Enjoy making beautiful messes and leaving it behind when you go. Our passion focuses on the process rather than the product.

This is a recurring program on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday, and 2nd Sunday of each month.

Suggested ages 18 months - 5 years old, with a caregiver. Older siblings can join in the fun, although activities are geared toward toddlers + preschoolers.

Cost: $15 per child with caregiver / $35 max per family

Registration is required as space is limited. Drop-ins may be accommodated if space allows.

Have a child who loves arts & crafts? Kids Underground Art Lab offers a different a variety of materials and fun craft options, with supervised access to glue guns, so children can create to their heart’s content!

This class is offered the third Sunday of each month * to children in grades K-5, and caregivers can drop children off for the hour and a half program.

Cost: $15 per child / $35 max per family

Registration is required as space is limited. Drop-ins may be accommodated if space allows.

Bring your latest project-- whether it be stitching, beading, felting, knitting or other (portable) craft-- to work on at this informal gathering, or come to have your creativity sparked by Adult Art Play!

The Community Crafting Circle is an opportunity to dedicate time to your project, share interests and skills, and connect with other members of the community. Adult Art Play will feature stations to create your own holiday cards, bead, utilize fabric scraps and access tools for light clothing repair.

This class is offered the third Sunday of each month, and is geared towards teens and adults. Children are welcome to join their caregivers and play in the side/snack room.

Cost: $15
